This Notice explains how the WCOE DMV Platform may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

1. Essential technology

The Platform may use cookies, local storage, session storage, tokens, or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for authentication, security, session continuity, preferences, fraud/abuse prevention, and basic technical operation. Disabling essential technologies may prevent account login or other features from working correctly.

2. Analytics and operational measurement

WCOE DMV may use limited analytics or operational logs to understand traffic, feature usage, errors, performance, and security. At initial launch, the Platform is not intended to use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising, or member-directory data for advertising profiles.

Before new nonessential analytics or tracking technology is introduced, WCOE DMV should review what data it collects, why it is needed, how long it is retained, and whether consent or additional notice is required.

3. Third-party services

Authentication, hosting, databases, email, security, embedded links, and other Platform functions may be provided through third-party services. Those services may set or receive technical identifiers as part of providing their function and are also governed by their own privacy and security terms.

4. Your choices

Most browsers allow users to view, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential technologies may interfere with Platform functionality. If WCOE DMV later deploys nonessential tracking that requires consent, appropriate controls should be added before that tracking is activated rather than displaying a consent banner that does not reflect actual technology.

5. Updates and contact

This Notice may be updated as the Platform’s technology changes. Questions may be submitted through the official Contact page.
